Background
Porter Jablon is one of four children, the only son of a Commercial Freighter Pilot. He learned to fly at a young age, and even went as far as getting his commercial transit license to pay his way through four years at the I.S.F. Military Academy. His nearly-spotless record at the academy is blemished by several instances of verbal insubordination.
Space Cadets Initiative
Jablon was selected in 2352 to be Pilot for the introductory Space Cadets Initiative. After crossing the Barrier at Checkpoint 1193-S on June 11, 2352, the ISF Explorer was never heard from again. Nearly a year later, Captain Alaborap returned from the dead to announce that he’d marooned the Space Cadets on an alien planet. On August 1, 2353 the ISF publicly acknowledged the Cadets as “Missing In Action.”
